I remember when I saw pictures of the Raf Simons Haute Couture show for Dior in 2012. He created an experience with flowers and it was so beautiful and so powerful. Since then we've seen a rise in flower walls as backdrops for weddings (remember Kimye's wedding??).
Nellie is really wanting a flower wall for her wedding in November, and I'm determined to help her with the project. Whether I find one to buy or we make one ourselves, it's going to happen one way or another. There has been talk of craft and wine girls night... Don't know how that flower wall would turn out though( Maybe I'll do a whole thing on Snapchat that night because although it will be entertaining, we will definitely not want that floating around the internet).
I've seen some on Alibaba but I'm pretty apprehensive about that site only because it's so unpredictable. I might buy a panel just to see what they look like. The problem is, is there are so many options on the site and who knows which seller to buy from. It's really a crap shoot that I think I'm willing to take.
The other option right now is to buy some fake hedges which we've seen at Target and another site and then use silk flowers to fill the panels in to create one ourselves. I'm sure there's a Pinterest DIY step by step instruction on how to do this, but what fun would that be? If Alibaba doesn't work out, drunk craft night with the ladies might be our only option.
Hi, my name is Regina Weir. I'm a mother, a wife, a daughter and a sister. I used to be a New York party girl but I moved from New York to Atlanta to help with the family biz. Our family has been in the linen industry for over 15 years and it's now me and my brother's turn to take over and start something new and exciting. We've got a lot of ideas and we're forward thinking people so we hope you'll follow us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, or Snapchat (if I can figure that one out) to find out what we've got going on.
